The application now supports two types of barcode scanners:
1. Basic
- Only scans directly above the code
- No auto-focus
- high speed - real time scanning from video streams
2. Advanced
- Optimized for DataMatrix
- High-Speed Scanning: Industrial Scanning Algorithm
- Omni-directional scanning for 360 degrees
- Scanning at an angle of up to 45 degrees
- Patterns recovery for damaged codes
Changing the type of barcode scanner is done at the Profile screen.
*** Scanning problems ***
1. If the scan screen does not open
-Check if the app has camera privilege.
2. If the camera opens, but on all accounts it returns to the previous screen and the accounts are not in the report.
-Try switching to the Basic Barcode Scanner type via the profile screen.
3. The app scans some bills and not others.
- It is best scanned when the bill is not bent. So place it on a table and tighten it so that it is flat.
Try to keep the camera pointed at the Datamartix code for 10 seconds.
In this way, even slightly damaged bills are scanned.
4. The application does not scan receipts from Makpetrol
- Makpetrol invoices are scanned only with the Advanced Barcode Scanner type.
Only if they are not damaged. Basic type will not scan them.
FAQ
1. Uncompatible device (Your device isn't compatible with this version)
- The application can be used on devices with Android 4.4 and above, with a camera with autofocus.
2. Logging in
- Email and password from ePDD are used to get the ePDD user number. If you have forgotten your password, you should reset it through the ePDD website. A pin is generated only the first time and after that it is used for logging in. Pay attention to lower/uppercase letters in the email.
3. Invalid pin
-The PIN that can be entered is a 4-digit number from 0000 to 9999.
4. Change pin
-If you have forgotten your pin, in the top right menu, you have the option to change/enter a new pin.
5. Entering a transaction account
- Enter the transaction account and password from ePDD (not the pin) for confirmation. A transaction account is not the same as a debit/credit card number.
6. There is no connection to the IRS
- Check if you have an active internet connection (3G, 4G, WiFi).
7. Scanning
-When the camera is opened it doesn't need to have a button or take a picture, it just needs to be positioned over the barcode (anywhere on the screen) to read it.
8. Damaged Accounts
-If the receipt has more than 10% damage (defective printer, bad paper), the application cannot read it. If the barcode cannot be read that account can be entered through manual entry in the IRS.
9. From what date are tax refund receipts valid
- All fiscal accounts dated after 01.07.2019 from the last 10 days.
10. Electricity and telephone bills
- Utility bills cannot be scanned.
11. Why there is no refund amount
-Scanned receipts need to be validated and processed to be added to the refund calculation.
12. Slow app opening and slow PIN login screen appearing
-When opening the application, it tries to establish an internet connection to the IRS.
If the internet connection is not stable, there may be a slight delay until the PIN login screen appears.
